The North East Journal of Management (NEJM) is dedicated to upholding the rights of authors and ensuring the protection of intellectual property. This Copyright Policy outlines the guidelines governing the use, reproduction, and distribution of content published in NEJM Author Retention of Copyright: Authors retain the copyright of their original work published in the Journal. However, by submitting a manuscript, authors grant NEJM the right to publish, distribute, and archive their work. Additionally, authors grant NEJM an exclusive license to publish their work. This license includes the right to reproduce, distribute, display, and create derivative works based on the published material.

Authors are responsible for obtaining all necessary permissions for the use of third-party content (e.g., images, tables, figures) included in their submissions. NEJM is not liable for any copyright infringement related to such content. Authors are also required to appropriately attribute and cite NEJM as the original source when using or reproducing any content from the journal.

It is imperative to note that reproduction or distribution of NEJM content for commercial purposes requires explicit permission from NEJM. Requests for commercial use should be directed to the journal's editorial office. Conversely, NEJM content may be freely used for educational and non-commercial purposes, provided proper attribution is given and the use complies with copyright law. Also, authors are granted the right to reuse and republish their own work without seeking permission from NEJM, provided they acknowledge the original publication in the journal.

NEJM takes a strong stance against plagiarism and the misuse of published content. Any detected cases will be promptly addressed, and appropriate actions, including retractions, may be taken.
