Open Access Policy

The North East Journal of Management is dedicated to guaranteeing unrestricted access to academic research in order to foster the dissemination and application of knowledge. This Policy on Open Access delineates the principles and guidelines that govern the accessibility of content that is published in NEJM.

Open Access Publication: NEJM advocates for unimpeded access to all published articles, ensuring that the findings of research are freely accessible to the global community.

Creative Commons License: Authors retain the copyright of their work and consent to the publication under the Creative Commons Attribution License. This license permits others to copy, distribute, display, and execute the work, as well as create derivative works based on it, but only if they attribute the author or licensor as specified.

Author Responsibility: Authors are accountable for ensuring that their submissions adhere to the Open Access Policy. This encompasses obtaining any necessary permissions for third-party content.

The North East Journal of Management (NEJM) encourages authors to deposit a version of their published articles in institutional or subject-specific repositories in order to enhance the visibility and accessibility of their work.

In order to ensure immediate open access, NEJM allows authors to impose an embargo period before their work becomes freely accessible. However, it is important that this embargo period is reasonable and clearly stated during the submission process.

NEJM may require authors to pay Article Processing Charges (APCs) to cover a portion of the expenses associated with the publication of their articles. However, the journal may also consider granting waivers or concessions based on the authors' financial need or other relevant circumstances.

This Open Access Policy will be regularly reviewed and revised to ensure that it aligns with the evolving standards and best practices of open access publishing.

By adhering to this policy, NEJM aims to contribute to the advancement of knowledge by making high-quality research accessible to a diverse audience, fostering innovation, and promoting collaboration in the field of management.
