Become a Reviewer

We are always looking for qualified individuals to join our reviewer team. If you are interested in becoming a reviewer for NEJM, please consider the following:

Qualifications
  • Ph.D. or equivalent professional experience in a relevant field
  • Active researcher with recent publications
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to provide constructive feedback
Responsibilities
  • Review 2-3 manuscripts per year on average
  • Provide detailed, constructive feedback to authors
  • Evaluate manuscripts based on originality, methodology, and significance
  • Complete reviews within 2-3 weeks of acceptance
